Bad Apple Babbles

Welcome to Bad Apple Babbles, a semi-regular newsletter that I am creating! I will be mostly talking about upcoming projects and shop updates, as well as life updates

January 16th, 2026: Hello, and welcome to my first babble!

I would like to start off by saying thank you for your support and reading this :) To begin, I have created a google form for product reviews that you can submit. I'd love to hear feedback and ways on how I can improve on my craft! Product Review Form

Next, I'd like to introduce some of the projects I have started on!

  1. Vintage Purse Handles: I scavenged eBay and found a bunch of vintage purse handles I'd like to use along with vintage or secondhand fabrics I also found.
  2. Good luck knot modifications: I have been revamping thrifted jackets with hand-tied good luck knots! Interested in one? Fill out this form!
  3. Fruitscented Logo Tennis Balls + Container: In my sculpture class, this is my proposed project for "Go Big" prompt. The sculpture must be a minimum of 3 feet tall. I am going to start off by making the tennis balls and then the container. If I have extra time, I will create a large tennis racket as well!
  4. Lion Dance Red Envelopes Re-Do: I am planning on re-doing these but making them into red envelopes instead and using gold fabric marker to draw on the lions. Getting into the new year mood :)

That's all I have so far! Let me know your thoughts and ideas... I'd love to hear them :)

Life Updates:

I recently got confirmation for a solo art residency in Fort Collins, Colorado! I am so excited to spend a week just working on my craft and having peace of mind. Additionally, I am on track to graduate this May with my Bachelor's! I have no next steps after that besides starting my Master's in the fall of this year. I will probably still work full-time as a delivery driver for [redacted]. I am having trouble finding an internship or full-time job at the moment. So this will have to do! Because I am uncertain about my future in these upcoming months, I am unsure if I should be participating in Benson First Friday's outdoor artist markets this summer... I am on the lookout for out-of-state markets as well :) Thank you for listening!
